CS2 Game crash after 20 seconds [Black Screen]
I'm facing this issue since the beta release, but i thought when the full game will be out it will be fixed but i was wrong.

The game starts normally but within 20 seconds it will crash into black screen, unless i manage to join a game before the 20 seconds mark.

I did manage to play some deathmatch or casual, but that's because i connected to a game in less than 20 seconds.

when i checked the event viewer, it mentions the 2 following erors

1- The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

2- "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered"

Things i tried:

1- Flashing to the latest BIOS
2- Latest windows 10 update is installed
3- Fresh and latest GPU/CPU Drivers installed
4- Swapped the RAM into different slots and positions
5- Verifying integrity of game files
6- Uninstalling and reinstalling of the full game
7- Deleted the graphics drivers using DDU and installed fresh one
8- tried several launch options still facing the same issue
9- RAM, CPU and GPU is set on default speed. no overclocking what so ever
10- Tried running on Separate RAM Sticks, also same issue.
11- Tried going windowed mode, windowed fullscreen, both didn't help
12- Unclocking/Undervolting and also overclocking didn't help either
13- Installing CS2 on a Separate SSD, to no avail

My Specs:

i7 6700
MSI GTX 1070
16GB DDR4 @2666

Anyone who encountered this and managed to find a fix
it is k*lling me :((((

What gpu are you using? Maybe old amd or those china gpu's which could make such problems (which I heard from other games).

try changing the screen frequency value to one lower
I had 75, changed it to 70 and the game stopped hanging

I have the same issue. The problem is a very high GPU usage in the menu screen.
It's like the game forcing the GPU to work 100% in the menu screen. I notice this because i heard my fan ramping hard in the menu then i check my GPU Z and it display 100% usage.
But it will drop down to normal once i join the lobby game.

it didn't really help, now the game only works for half an hour or just hangs for no reason

I don't manage to get to the game if i didn't join in less than 20 seconds
It's really sad because i literally tried all the solutions online and none of them did the job for me.

The first one:

"The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer."

The second one:

"Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

At this point I'm not sure if it is a graphic card issue or it is a bad memory stick that's causing it, even though i'm not countering anything similar with other games

This just happened to me just now. Not sure what caused it, but I just restarted the game and everything was smooth and fine again. The event viewer showed it as a warning, not an error.
