Smoke not working (?!)

Hey guys!

I started CS2 for the first time today. So far, I like everything, but I noticed that the smoke is "not visible" to me only when I'm standing in it. I can see through it from the outside.

Because of this, I didn't even play on live servers, because I still get a ban at the end. I tried it on Steam Deck, where I set the graphics to almost the minimum, so that the FPS would be better. Has anyone else encountered this?

I tried it on higher graphics settings and the situation is the same! Would those playing on Valve's PC benefit so much?
