Terrible audio delay
CS2 Has terrible audio delay, my spec are 3080ti ryzen r9 5950x RIP steam.

Edit: The only fix we have found so far is to switch the audio source to default then back to your normal source. This should temp fix the issue without the need for a restart.

Same issue. Old X-Fi Titanium sound card (works flawlessly everywhere else), GTX 1650, Ryzen 7.

In my experience, I don't have to change it twice. I just have to change it. So, I change it to default. Then at the start of the next round, I change it back to {Name of device}. Then, cycle. I put in a support ticket (as everyone should) so that they know it's a problem.

It still does it after I do this work around. I just repeat the step everytime I notice it starting to delay.
make sure to submit a ticket to steam support

I have the exact same issue, that after few minutes of gameplay, audio starts to lag or desync. Only way to "fix it" temporarily is what is said here, change windows other audio device and then back to the sound card. Problem is, that it comes back after 1 round of gameplay. I tried using my Bluetooth Audio device and it's working without issues. This issue only consists of my main audio device, which is Motu M4, it is using 24-bit 192khz. I tried 44khz, but same issue persists. The 24-bit is forced so I can't change it, the bluetooth audio was 16-bit 44khz, so the culprit might be 24-bit audio. Unplayable at this point until they fix it. I didn't have this issue on the beta at all, so they f**ked up something along the release.

i ordered a new sound card since the x-fi has given me more then enough through the years i still love that sound card but ive been looking at the AE7 because i wanted to get some high impedance headphones. will report back if the issue happens on the sound blaster ae7.

edit AE7 works flawless
