This pile of ♥♥♥♥ game isn't booting

How do I fix this?

Valve can't even release a functioning game on their own game store

i can't launch cs2 on a reliable constant basis

the game doesn't boot most of the time. i had to reinstall it from scratch until it finally booted. but then when i exit it, i'm unable to boot into it again.

the game servers go down and im unable to find a match. which made me exit to try reboot the game to see if servers would come back online, but now i can't boot my game again!

i reinstalled it again, but now it's not booting at all

this is extremely strange. and the error isn't even behaving in a consistent way so i that i could at least pinpoint a cause

and cs2 is a valve made game, on steam, which is owned by valve. lol

the irony is funny that a valve made game doesn't boot on steam and it's the only game that's ever done that for me.

i'm able to boot into cs2 fine through:
steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\bin\win64

but it's useless because it tells me that it can't connect to Valve servers.
it needs to be launched through steam and not through an .exe to play normal multiplayer

When I try to update сs2, I get an error that I don't have an internet connection, BUT HAVE IT.
I cant launch it neither. I reinstalled, updated, check files integrity, everythings seems to be ok...and isnt launching. After a few seconds nothing happens. Crap.

Have you tried to verify game files?
Do you have it on SSD or HDD? (idont know if that is an issue)
or also try opening steam and CS2 as admin?
check your task manager and toolbar and close useless task?

i know this is basic trouble shooting but maybe it will help

yea same.

i waited months to be able to play this damn overrated game.

the game still has such major issues like not launching and the toggle crouch animation is still bugged which i reported to the cs2 team back during dust2 beta

I had the same problem and I fixed it by clicking "run the game as admin" from the properties of the file, however, now I can't play on verified servers because i'm running it as admin and if i don't run it as such, the game won't even open.
I don't have a VAC ban and no foreign files or anything so I don't really know how to fix that VAC thing but at least you can start the game that way lol

i know i've done that already.

you can only play on custom servers or against bots in such a state.

i don't get why official multiplayer doesn't work since once you double click the .exe it launches through steam anyway

while you wait for valve to fix their official crap,
you are able to play on custom servers if you just paste ip connections into your console:

I wanted to update that I managed to make it work. I followed the instructions in this tutorial and the third one was the charm. Wanted to let you know in case it worked for you too:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG4LkiARZzs&t=17s&ab_channel=LotusGeek

Script to paste in powershell:
dir "$env:systemroot\system32\driverstore\filerepository\*NvCameraEnable.exe" -rec |% {& "$_" off}

dir "$env:programfiles\nvidia corporation\*NvCameraEnable.exe" -rec |% {& "$_" off}

I didn't run the game as admin in this case and it worked
