give it a year, or maybe a couple months, and it'll have everything that csgo has
Stop getting mad at random internet comments, like are you 3?
true but I'd like to be able to play the game on the old engine too, like we can with CSS
And replacign a good game for an inferior one that doesn't run properly, is full of cheaters and has less content is even worse.
Stop defending this.
proof enough that all thats missing is polish.
difference being that we now have a very good starting position.
i think all thats missing is a bit time to fix the laggy mousemovements.
valve would have been the first entity here on steam to easily realize this because they not only build steam but also own and operate the entire infrastructure and i think they should have done that. they should have released cs2 as a new title and copied over all user data from csgo to cs2, no biggy for them.
i'm sure they didn't do it because they knew cs2 is a half assed affort and its barely releasable so no one would have been interested in cs2 if csgo still existed in the state it was in (which i tihnk was quite good after 11 years of development and support) :(
this is another overwatch situation sadly where they released a massively inferior product with less content, more issues and forced everyone into it by deleting its predecessor. these days greed just took over the entire gaming business and there are only rare exceptions to that (baldurs gate 3 being one)
