STEAM DECK PERFORMANCE

I think CS2 has made a massive perfomance hit in Counter-strike. i was getting AVG 150-200 Depending on the map on csgo but on cs2 im getting 40-60fps on everything low ofc. Whats everyone's thoughts ??

I downloading it right now to test game performance but since game updated graphics it is normal to get less fps , but you should be able to lower it down and get more resoanable fps , also its first day of update usually it takes few months for games to fix fps drops.

I did everything in settings to lowest possible still getting no more than 60fps, you won't have a fun experience

I am downloading for pc , I just want to see changes first hand . but on rtx 3080 game should run.

Same here, on Go it was perfect but now without the possible to play Go anymore, it’s not playable even it’s a Valve Original game. They should release a special Steam Deck version there you hit 60+ fps with some less textures maybe, than this on 30-40 fps and become stuttering when an enemy appears. Blame on you Valve, sorry I love you, but this was not good thought about.

Yeah the performance on deck is bad now. Everything on low with fsr disabled. Also no sound on deck. I'm disappointed they got rid of most casual gamemodes too.

I also have a steam deck and csgo was running fine. the sound can be resolved with the startup parameter "-sdlaudiodriver pipewire". unfortunately, as others write here, "at least" a stable 60 is impossible to achieve. on enemy contact drop to ~40fps and it's impossible to play. if I put fsr the highest quality it behaved the same as when I put performance. it's ridiculous.. the flickering of textures etc.

Maybe because when Valve made their cs2 port for linux they shot their shot and broke someones window. I benchmarked everything and my highest fps with low settings on linux are lower than my highest fps with the highest settings on windows

UPDATE.... just sold the steam deck and got a pc
