Achievements??

WTF why did they get rid of the CSGO achievements?? I lost 160-some achievements!

Otherwise great facelift to the game, why did they have to ruin it by removing the achievements I worked so hard to get.

its because the achievements would no longer be possible to get in cs2
thus making the game impossible to 100% for new achievement hunters,
a good chunk of them where already unobtainable in csgo unless you knew certain workarounds

Absolutely ridiculous from Valve.
People spend hours on the 167 achievements and then simply delete them.
Even for old players, who would like to play CS GO or Game-Collectors, it is simply a disgrace.
I was really looking forward to CS2, a breath of fresh air.
But simply replacing/deleting the old game, that you paid for back then is already stupid.

technically it's not deleted
can always use go download the last csgo build that valve left for us in the properties tab of CS2 it can only play on community servers though

I cant believe this. Imagine being a 100%, it took SO MANY HOURS! SO MANY! I know because I spent a lot of time grinding other achies for csgo. And knew how long the others would take so I barely ever did them. But I still did the 100 matches ones i think. VALVE! *pulls hairs* Think i had 161. NO WARNING VALVE!

Technically if you do not start up the game, your old achievements will stay.

I meant just the number at least. If you start up CS2, all of it will go away and it will be reset to 1.

The difference is that he is cheating himself. If he were to do what Armstrong did and completed with other players, we might have an actual problem.

go on true achievements site, not true. Then take a look at xbox achievement site. the scale of it. How many players love achievement hunting. Go. I dare you.
