Using CSGO's reviews as CS2's reviews
Incredibly scummy, shady, and disingenuous. You suck, Valve. This is trash. I don't even like CSGO, and don't really plan on playing CS2 much, but this is just filth. These reviews do not reflect how people feel about this game. What a joke.

And no, I'm not a troll, and I'm not here for your stupid community awards. Take em and shove em up Valve's rear. This is just trash.

That doesn't matter. The overall review score is compounded from a different game. It's scummy and it's wrong.

CS2 is a CS:GO update, why would they remove the reviews?

Its almost like its an update to the same game, anyone can change reviews anytime they want what is the issue? Is this a clown award farm post?

You are right and with this "update" you get a new engine but you loose like 40% of content. This release is supercringe.

you know there are two categories for reviews, right? Recent reviews usually show the state of the game before you buy it.

They're not marketing it as an update, and in the grand scope of things, there are enough changes here that, when compared against CS 1.6 to CS:S and CS:S to CSGO, this is a sequel, and it shouldn't just replace the original game. I hate CSGO, but them completely replacing it is also scummy and crappy. And no, I don't want your stupid awards. This is crappy even by Valve's standards. And I'm fully aware there are two categories, this is still crappy. It's a situation that edges on what Blizzard did with Overwatch 2, and yet people don't care, because it's almighty Valve.

Replacing the entire game, removing content, making it impossible to play the previous title. Why are people ok with this?

I guess when you own the literal platform service the game is hosted on, you can do what you want lol.

It's not like anyone else couldn't do this, they just don't generally. Overwatch did it, but Overwatch was never on steam until Overwatch 2. Path of Exile was going to, but backtracked into making Path of Exile 2 its own game, which is smart. That's how things should be.
