No more short competitive mode?

There was an option for 8 wins = game in competitive CSGO. I don't see that in CS2.

Instead of having shorts, they moved it back to 13 round games. They didn't wanna divide the players into long and short matches so there's faster queue times

Which is such a bs reason, as if CS wasn't the most played game on Steam. No way having 2 separate queues would have a noticeable effect.

Ah k. Yeah I think it's silly. I only found out about the 8 match option recently so barely used it (sporadically play the game), but I still miss it now.

I was looking for short matches as soon as it Counter Strike 2 came out. Kinda disappointed

honestly everything about CS2 is worse, but taking short matches away made it easy to not waste time on this game anymore

searching time still the same but now I should lose 13 rounds instead of 9
