CS2 practice mode with friends?

With CS2 finally released, I tried to play practice mode with friends.
But whenever I invited them/joined them and started the game, it would show "Unable to establish connection"
Is there currently a way to play with friends in practice mode?

Step 1 enable console
Step 2 Type in console "map de_dust2"or the map you want to play.
step 3 type Status in console after server started
step 4 copy the ip address all the way in the top Server: Running [192.168.1.127:27015]
step 5 on your friend's pc in console type connect 192.168.1.127:27015
this only works in LAN local Area Network does'nt not work on internet

I found a working solution for this.
Step 1: Enable console.
Step 2: The host should start a practice map.
Step 3: Download hamachi, create a room for you and your friends.
Step 4: Copy the ipv4 address of your friend in hamachi who host's the server.
Step 5: Your friends have to open the console and type "connect your friends ipv4 address".
Step 6: Wait for the game to load, it should take a few seconds for the lag to stop.

You'll need to manually port forward until CS2 offers Peer to Peer connection again.

In file explorer, go to network and right click on your router, and select properties.

Go to settings and click add.

Type in the description, your LAN IP, (as described by neTo^) and select UDP. The outbound and inbound ports will both be 27015.

Agreed, should be simpler for sure haven't yet tried the steps but sounds like people still having issues with that as well

it started on 28.09.2023. It's 03.03.2024 so almost half a year later and it's still not fixed.
