CSGO & CS2 Achievements

All of the achievements seemingly got removed from CSGO, and now there is only 1 achievement so far in CS2... which is pretty sad. I racked up quite a bit of achievements in CSGO

Do you think they will restore the old achievements after a few days of CS2 being out? Or you think they're gone forever?

Gone forever most likely. Many of them were unobtainable without using additional methods and valve simply decided it would be best to remove them

Oh ok. Hopefully they add more for CS2 at least. I'm sure they will

Achievement gonna be gone forever, but let's hope they will add csgo back to library, if even just for Community servers.
(I know, I can change beta launch Options.. but still..)




Btw if you wanna get cs2 achievement, just start the game, join any gamemode (you don't even have to play, just join and leave XD) then close the game and you got your hidden achievement.

Valve doesn't care about Achievements. In fact I'm shocked that they added award images to 100% games and now a sound when they pop. But it's not a concern for them, they are quite aware many achievements are obtained by cheating, mods, or 3rd party software, so really they don't matter.

I'm even glad that they removed all the old achievements and perhaps they will add new ones in the future. In CSGO, many achievements were broken and it was impossible to get them without cheats or workshop maps

Considering achievements removal made my achievement stats (including average percentage) worse, i am clearly not glad

When you get them all for a game and it's listed as Perfect there's a little award emblem that shows on your achievements progress bar.

A mass disappointment, they could of just left them in and maybe fix the broken ones. People have put hours on hours going for them. To people who just say "who cares, people just cheat them with SAM" What about the people who don't? You can't use an exception to the rule to make an argument.

What was the point of the 1 and only new replacement achievement? so dumb

Dude. In CS:GO it was impossible to open all the achievements without cheats. The main complainers are those who opened them with cheats
