Steam is showing the size of game files totals at 33gbs for me. I even checked the folder in steamapps, 34gb (funny discrepancy I guess but still nowhere near 80).

CS2 has about 34 GB... this directory just includes the old CSGO files still..

You must have also workshop stuff subscribed etc
(As far as I know old csgo workshops are still kept, as you can also still play csgo.. just not on official servers)

Let it run for a while. Mine freed about 20GB during an update. Isn't CSGO(now CS2) only about 34-35GB? Certainly was never 85GB for me.

If the game is 30gb and the store page says 85gb someone messed up somewhere.

Also, 55gb is quite a difference, future updates or not
