RIP CSGO - I am not crying, you are

CSGO was an era. I spent my life in this game. 5000+ Hours to be precise.

I made Friends, Memories, Amazing Shots and had moments of Unforgettable Laughter.

I Witnessed Toxicity, Cheaters, Rage Quitters and Trollers.

I saw the good, I saw the bad and I truly loved the game.

I played my first game of CS2. Dust 2. Does that make me an idiot? Probably yes to some dust haters but I truly love that map from source days

CS2 is not CSGO. I will always cherish and love the moments that I had on CSGO, I am really upset that CSGO is not a standalone game and I hope that maybe the community will cry enough for us to get CSGO back.

I currently have a potato GPU (temporarily) and CS2 is more intensive... but doesn't necessarily look better (In my opinion)

I won't lie, I am upset. Not because CS2 is BAD but because CSGO was GOOD. It had its problems but It really got me through some dark times. Sometimes all I was waiting for was to get back home and play CSGO.

Maybe we will never see CSGO again. Maybe we will. I will continue to play CS2 because I am just far too invested now. I rose from Silver 1 all the way to Global Elite. It was a life goal of mine to attain Global and I did it. I reached FaceIT level 10. I climbed the CS mountain.

This might be a new mountain to climb. I am not against doing it all again. But now that it is gone. I realise. That '♥♥♥♥' game wasn't so bad after all. It really was a masterpiece.

Thank you valve for CSGO. It was a time I will never forget with memories that truly will stay with me until the day I die. CSGO made me a PC FPS player and I truly loved the game even when I said it was ♥♥♥♥ after some quack has managed to pull of an unbelievable piece of ♥♥♥♥ scout shot- you get the point.

God bless you CSGO community. It was great - Thank you for a time I'll never forget.

RIP CSGO - You lasted a while and you were better than we treated you. Thank you.

Well said, mate. CS 1.6/CSS were my era. Glad to read CSGO was your era. I cherish the early and late 2000s a lot. Your time came with the 2010's.
