How can they miss this out?
Game is trash yet you're still playing it. Be patient, it's not like this is what CS2 will be. It's the next iteration of Counter-Strike so over time, I'm sure they'll be plenty of new modes, maps, skins, agents, cases, and more.
Data is data and just like how Valve was charging $1 a month to get your post-game stats for ranked matches in CS:GO, they probably realized nobody was buying that so it was removed for CS2. I bet the same situation happened with Danger Zone when they realized it was a mode literally no one was playing on top of it not having VAC for whatever reason. It was crazy to me how that and even in War Games (Flying Scoutsman in particular) there was rampant cheating by the same person in pretty much every match yet nothing happened.
I reported this person and yet I'd see them STILL playing in FS for days and I honestly think they got bored cheating since nothing happened to them for whatever reason. Sounds like these modes and DZ were just there, few played it I'm sure, but the core of Counter-Strike has always been DMs and regular long 5v5 matches. There was never ranked matches in CS until CS:GO but even without it, that was the main mode everyone played, nobody cared about any other mode.
It's ironic to me that the people complaining about War Games or Danger Zone being removed by Valve for CS2 probably never played it as much as they think they did. I've read some people saying exactly that but that "it should still be there as an option" which doesn't make sense to me. If the majority aren't playing it, why even keep it?
If it were me, I'd take the opportunity to either completely remove these modes for something newer and better or re-introduce them with a whole new twist. Maybe Valve does Danger Zone 2, introduces brand new maps, a solo mode, makes it more like what a BR should be instead of the confusing and weird Danger Zone, and see how that goes.
I always enjoyed War Games since it was different but I can't even tell you how many matches were a few humans and a bunch of bots. Even if it was the weekend or at night when you'd usually expect a ton of gamers, nobody really touched these modes.
It is what it is and maybe Valve brings these back or maybe they don't. Either way, they weren't as popular as people think they were based on my experiences, at least.
That's irrlevant. CSGO was a full game that worked, it was taken away from costumers without their permission or consent and replaced with an inferior product that lacks a lot of features and doesn't work well for a lot of players either because it has higher minimum specs or because the netcode is simply awful.

the only battle royale I played
Also I hope they will bring back solo mode instead of forcing everyone into team
Because I have no frens
Not only have those things been ignored and stagnate in csgo, but they’ve taken so much of it away in CS2. Not something you see, nor expect in a new release.
Typically new releases are filled with new features, etc… to excite the fan base and promote the buzz for new purchases, but it seems that Valve is just being greedy and lazy with this.
I hope you and other’s that keep preaching to have patience are right, because the longer we go without new content, or at least restoring previous features, the greater the risk of becoming bored or disgruntled and moving on to something else.
