I think it would be a bad idea to replace CSGO entirely with CS2. Millions of poor players that can't afford better hardware, especially from third world countries, won't be able to keep playing their favorite franchise anymore and will be left behind. They will have to switch to Valorant.
Also that second point should not matter to developers lol, it's not Valve's problem if people are using 10+ year old hardware and expect to run modern games with it. It's such a non-argument, I don't know why you bother bringing it up.
my fav thing to happen would be
"lmao fak cheaters we turn on vac now we were testing stuff"
All skins will transfer to CS2.
I imagine this. CS2 will enter Open Beta either Wednesday or very soon thereafter. Competitive Premier is seasonal and the current season is displayed as Beta, and I see this continuing until full release, allowing all players to get a Beta rank after 10 matches won. Doing so will reward players with a coin/pin, similar to the Loyalty Badge, acknowledging service during CS2 Beta and given to players once CS2 is officially released.
Just my thoughts on how this will go.
