Won a game but lost points
I just won a game in overtime and I got deducted points instead of winning points?

Thats no possible. You can lose points from a tie or a lose.

I actually did, my 3rd or 4th game in Premier some dude toggled cuz he was so sure the enemy were cheating so he started blasting them thru walls and what not, but why do I have to be penalized for someone's else stupidity?

sigh* A draw is not a win.... A draw, wait for it, is a draw. Elo gain/loss is calculated separately and seems dependent on who you are playing against. If you're drawing against much lower elos, you're gonna lose elo.

I reported him and did everything to make him stop it, he was premade with one more guy so we were unable to kick him

dude this is not argument, this is a fact. draw counts as win for both sides.

Except the fact is you don't get the elo you were promised for a win by drawing, thus the fact is they don't count as a win for elo gain... Crazy.

This shouldn't be an argument because it's hardly rocket science but apparently it's difficult for some people to comprehend.

bro what the hell is this discussion, a draw means a draw, in csgo you might rank up, in cs2 you might win/lose points, and in other games besides csgo/cs2 you might not even gain rank points/elo at all, who cares if you rank up or not, the game re-calculates elo win/loss after you draw, i thought this thing was obvious enough that people wouldn't need to discuss it, it all depends on the game's elo calculation

Are you talking about CS GO? Because in CS2, tie is a tie, and you didn't lose/gain elo, on tie.
Check this:
https://csstats.gg/player/76561198257267190/cs2#/matches

Match on 21 September, tie, overpass, 15-15, no elo change.

UPDATE: https://csstats.gg/match/138390676

I was a bit wrong. Actually it was +0/-0 personally for me. But other guys in this game lose or gain points, even considering it's a tie. I guess it's somehow calculated with your current rating, and average team ratings.

So you can rank up, and rank down on a tie.
