Well I’m posting on counterstrike forums so my goals is higher fps obviously
You won't notice any significant difference between 7200 MT/s cl 40 DDR5 and 3600 MT/s cl 14 DDR4 in every day real life tasks.
Oh its just that I read somewhere that dual channel 3600 ram works best in cs2 with amd cpu’s ,but thanks for your helpful reply.
Edit: You should always run RAM dual channeled. This is self evident.
Do I have to do anything to make it dual channeled?
Dual channel
low cl
high freq
A lot of ram have high freq but also a high cl level. Generally you csn say 1 cl level lower is as good as 200-400 freq.
I prefer low cl over high freq and it works well.
Dual channel btw. isn't as important anymore as it used to be.
Corsair vengeance generally is one of the best ram. Ddr 5 has higher freq but worse cl than ddr 4. I have cl15 with 3000 mhz. 5600's have 36 cl which is quite high.
Still the ram you wanna buy is very good.
Btw. as someone else said ram barely makes a difference in terms of fps. Same goes for the drive.
You can get 5600 MT/s cl 28 DDR5 RAM.
No. Just get a two stick memory kit (2x xx GB) instead of a single ram stick.
