is this game better than valorant? lets find out
Hey fellow gamers,

I wanted to start a discussion on why Valorant is, in my opinion, better than CS:GO. Now, before the CS:GO loyalists come at me, let's remember that this is just my personal take, and I'm open to hearing different viewpoints. So, here are a few reasons why I believe Valorant has the upper hand:

Agent Abilities: Valorant introduces agent-specific abilities, which add a layer of strategy and variety to the gameplay. These abilities force players to think on their feet, adapt their tactics, and coordinate with their team. CS:GO is more straightforward in this regard, with just guns and grenades, which some may find less engaging.

Balance and Updates: Riot Games, the developer of Valorant, has a track record of actively listening to the community and making balance changes accordingly. CS:GO, while a great game, doesn't seem to receive updates as frequently, which can lead to imbalances sticking around for longer periods.

Graphics and Art Style: Valorant's graphics are undeniably more modern and visually appealing compared to CS:GO. The art style is crisp, and the maps are detailed, making the game more immersive.

Anti-Cheat Measures: Valorant comes with a robust anti-cheat system (Vanguard), which actively scans your system to prevent cheating. CS:GO, on the other hand, has had issues with cheaters for years, and while they've improved their anti-cheat, it's still not as stringent as Vanguard.

Agent Lore and Personality: Valorant's agents have intriguing backstories and personalities. It's easy to get attached to your favorite agents, which adds a layer of depth to the game beyond just shooting. CS:GO focuses more on the competitive aspect, with less emphasis on character development.

Economic System: Valorant's economy system is more accessible and easier to understand for newcomers. In CS:GO, the economy can be quite daunting for new players, and it's easy to make mistakes that can severely impact your team's chances of winning.

Support and Esports: Riot Games has shown immense support for Valorant as an esport. The Valorant Champions Tour has brought a lot of attention to the game and has the potential to make it a major player in the esports scene. While CS:GO has a strong esports presence, Valorant's support from Riot could lead to even greater things.

Now, I'm not saying that CS:GO is a bad game. It's a classic, and it has its own charm. However, I believe Valorant has taken the best elements of CS:GO and added a new layer of excitement and strategy to create a more well-rounded gaming experience. What are your thoughts? Let's have a respectful discussion! :steamhappy:

cs is basically perfect (in theory) because things like agent specific skills etc. dont exist. a perfectly balanced game.
