CS2 BUG: pak_01.vpk file is corrupt. Verify Integrity of game files.

After a certain CS update, I don't know which one, but after that update CS2 just would NOT work at all. This error keeps popping up. The game starts verifying the integrity of game files on its own, and every single time it does nothing at all. I've tried deleting the materials and models folders and then verifying the integrity of game files, and yet nothing happened. I deleted all of the package files and verified the game files once again and nothing happened at all..

What I haven't tried yet is reinstalling the game which i am saving as a last resort until someone gives me another solution to it..

I can't seem to find any solution for it on the internet either. Last I've seen are some reddit posts 10 years ago, during CSGO launch. I even did a memory test since i thought maybe it's an issue with my hardware but that's alright as well.. I'm at a dead end.

EDIT: The error went away after I reinstalled the game. I've seen this work only for a select few people. Most of the cases, this doesn't work, and the error continues to show up. Many have proposed variety of solutions under this post, be sure to try all of them, and if the problem still exists... #ValveDoYourJob

i found a reddit when they all used default ram speeds and it worked for them, i got the same problem but im too lazy to check if i have default speeds applied xd also update your bios if possible

Try deleting the whole cs directory file then uninstall and install it again. That's what I did to fix my problem when I had it

I can't update bios or change my RAM speeds due to having a prebuilt OMEN pc, yet I'm still having the issue. Any other ideas?

En mi caso reinstale el juego y el error persiste, intente bajandole los graficos al minimo pero en algunos mapas(la mayoria) me sigue tirando el error. Verifica la integridad y luego el error sigue apareciendo, no puedo jugarlo. Lo proximo a intentar es moverlo a un ssd.

Might be an issue with the file system so i'd recommend scanning for that with whatever tool MS uses (chdsk?)

Just delete file in path stupid, look him @Harry scren shot for ful path. after ju delete file rigt click gam and go properity and then go instald files and to verifi integrti of gam files. Then fil wil reaper corect ar ju guys stupid for not undstand, i find tis esy, omg.
