CS2 in it's current state is terrible and there isn't a single positive change that they've made...
What have they done to CS? It feels and plays horribly.

All of the changes to the smokes are negative. They last way too long, spread way too far horizontally in every scenario and "open areas" (the physics are terrible) it doesn't spread enough vertically (some times they do?). The bullet hole mechanic is useless in matches and the grenade mechanic might as well be removed since it's makes a defensive utility into an offensive one. I'd rather have one ways than this.

The accuracy penalty while moving is non existent compared to GO. If the values are the same but it feels that way because of improved hitreg, then the values need to be increased.

I thought the lag compensation often felt terrible in GO and now I'm hoping to continue playing on GO's horrible netcode for the next decade rather than CS2's. It works half the time when everyone has low ping, but when the ping difference is >30 it completely breaks :csgo_despair:

The contrast is way too high and player models completely wash out making it much harder to spot them on half the locations around each map.

The physical map changes appear to have been done for aesthetics without any consideration for the impact on gameplay (see mexico on inferno).

I can't tell when or where I am getting shot.

The sounds are awful. Half the guns are too quiet while the echo on all of them is too loud. I now wonder where on the map certain sounds are coming from because medium and far sound the same. Footsteps are randomly way too loud and other times impossible to hear.

who thought it was a good idea to add RANDOM lights that create a shadow? For example, Radio on Nuke casts a massive shadow visible from ramp while every other light on the map does nothing... genius

I'll end the rant with all the little changes that serve "casual players" like coloring smokes or adding the follow recoil setting. Thank you for harming CS's competitive value by lowering the skill ceiling, even if those changes only lower it marginally. It all adds up and it's clear what direction valve wants to take CS with every CS2 update (now adding a graph that shows what maps the enemy team wins on the most during pick bans). I would rather play other games than a casual CS.

Have you ever played faceit. You can be hard carried and have 0 kills and still get the same elo as your better players. Remember this is a team game. You win as a team and lose as a team. If it was based on performance, then the name of the game would be baiting your teammates and padding your stats instead of playing the objective.

That’s not necessarily broken. There isn’t a single AAA game that can effectively calculate elo based on performance. They are all solely based on win/loss and anyone that claims otherwise does not understand how elo systems work.

That’s assuming it could only be win/loss or performance based. People just haven’t figured out a reliable method to calculate based on both and it’s much easier + cost effective to just use the same system /or slightly modify it.

That metaphor doesn’t work.

Valve hasn’t made a good game since half life 2. This isn’t the first time they are making games either.

The direction valve is taking CS2 is objectively reducing the skill ceiling and competitiveness of the game. Both are qualities that have made CS into one the most consistently popular games with the least amount of updates and new content.

But it does make sense for you to use terrible metaphors to blindly defend CS2 since silver is one of target audiences for these changes.

Thats stupid.Imagine you end up the game like 12/20 ,but out of those 12 kills you made like 3 clutches...you telling me thats not worth any points?? plus if that happen everyone would start camping (cause of dying) ,and that would be absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cancer...

Yep, my stats are low and EVEN I can adapt for the new game.

If someone can't do that, it means he even lower than me.
