You need more confident winrate to have equal number of points for win and lose.
Whole feature made for all these whiners who said it's impossible to reach out of silver5 or something cause of *put_your_excuse_here*. Now you have a chance to show yourself on a bit higher rank without any penalty, but if your performance won't be good enough, you will stay at -500 for lose.

But the rank system of CS2, how does it know "what is my real level"? Just because the outcome of a match depends on so many factors.
If I give it my all, but I can't win solo, then according to the game I will be assigned to a bad rating. When I play in a party with my friend, he always throws teams of 5 against each other.
And why is it that if I perform well in the last 4-5 games and even shoot ACE, with a good score and non-toxic behavior, then the next day's first game is "rewarded" with -580 points.
Please explain this to me.
I got same problem in MM...25 wins in a row on Dust 2! No rankup...roflmao after every match🤣
I don't know how many points you are at at the moment, but it was the same for me until I got 4,000 live points. Then 1 win = 4119, and in the next game it's -600 points if we lose. We lost and I dropped back to 3,500. I went to sleep afterwards instead.
