How to buy and use the machine gun in CS2?

I remember it being available in a match but now I cant see it during the buy period so I thought it was removed from the game when it transitioned to CS2 from CSGO.

but then the skins of it is still available in the market

You can only have a limited number of a certain weapon type available at once. Gotta customize your loadout in the main menu to select which weapons you want and which you don't

Press the loadout option and equip it

go to loadout and drag the machingun replace with one gun then you will see it on the buy menu

You have to equip every weapon new to your Loadout. It's different than in CSGO now you can choose for every section slot, like SMG, a weapon and you can choose for every slot everything belonging to this section. It's drag&drop. It's actually better than in CSGO, like you can equip M4A4 and M4A4-S at the same time. More options for you but something you have to get used to.
