you just have to get used to new engine.
Untrue, the pattern is is slightly different, the major difference is the recoil. The recoil is completely different than CSGO, it goes upward instead of down, visually anyway. If you try to use the same recoil pattern in CS2 that you did in CSGO, you'll miss most if not all of your shots.... Plus the damage modifiers and hit registration is also 100% broken.
The recoil determinates the pattern ;)
The pattern is still kinda lika a 7 shaped. It still goes up not down. Just aim at a wall and see for youself. I can't recall any weapon that has a pattern that goes down. This wouldn't make any sense.
I agree that there is something weird with the hit reg going on. You sometimes get hit after beeing behind a wall and sometimes you onetap and the enemy dies like a second later to the headshot, as if the latency is increased.
since shooting is much faster than in CSGO this also means you have to recoil adjust much faster.
