can you upgrade your account to prime for free ?
was this only a feature in the other cs games ? I heard a guy a work talk about how awesome this game was so i decided to try it out but steam only has cs2 the other ones don't exist on steam i guess. I heard another guy at work saying how he earned prime but is that possible in this one ?

you can only purchase prime status. i dont believe you can get it granted to you for free anymore.

If i remember correctly you used to be able to get prime status for free by levelling up to rank 21 , but this feature was removed in 2021 , as prime is used as a cheater deterrent so making people pay for it was supposed to reduce the amount of people cheating in prime ,
but the other games , CS 1.6 and cs source are still available .
