When you have a case try to open it and it'll ask you to buy one and charge you for it. Ignore all keys on the market.

If you try to open the case you'll see what I mean

click open on box then steam offers you to buy a key.
but usually u will get nothing.
u could also just sell the box for 1.50, add 2$ urself, and then buy a skin for 3.50.
