1k point penalty in premier mode

Yesterday I lost electric power at my town during a premier game and got a cooldown for abonding match, penalty for that is 1000 points. ARE YOU GUYS NORMAL !?
What kind of punishment is that, I need to win 3 games to return there and it is hard to win as your game is full of cheaters, unbelievable!

that is the abandon penalty now
you left your team with basically an unwinnable match and you get penalized for accepting the match and not honoring it.
does not matter if you willingly clicked abandon, power outage, internet outage, etc.

but my dad fell down the stairs and broke his neck i had to leave... dont care game is more importent u lose 4 matches. do u honestly think people wanna come back when they get punished like that? i know u dont want people to leave but its a game, sometimes u have to. and if the game punishes u, then u wont come back to it. this is every games death sentence. people just wont accept it, but its true. this is all it takes for a game to die. punish them for having irl problems. i know not all leavers have a good ecscuse but dont punish the ones that do have an excuse, they wont come back to the game. so it will DIE

Wow. And I thought me losing 300 points while carrying my team with 2 times more damage than 2nd frag per game and only gaining 90 for a win was bad.

its rly simple, noone wants anybody to leave a match, sometimes u just have to because of irl, u cant controle irl, ♥♥♥♥ happens. sure they should get punished, but no more than what it would cost to lose the match, 4v5 aint impossible FAR FROM its basicly the same until u end up in high ranked games. and u all know that so dont do a dumb comment on it. high ranked games u rly need all 5 every round. midd ranked, not so much someone will always carry (maybe not every match but majority, if u play 4v5 in midd u win more matches than u lose) thats facts. so back to punishment, when u punish hard for somerthing that small like a leave, people think, hey hey, what the ♥♥♥♥, just go see all the post that are being made as i reply. people dont want it, this is a game killer.

get a life come back say the same. forcing people to play a game vs real life = game killer. take the match los and if the team wins u still get the loss. thats how u keep people playing and paying. not by forcing them to sit behind the screen. if people dont have a life, they wont make money to pay for skins and keys so they need to have an irl life that sometimes can get in the way of gaming, people touched by this wont come back or they will stop spending money cause they wil get punished in the end, its pretty obvious

Premier ranking is ♥♥♥♥. i lost my all points because of new update and cant reconnect. Totally i lost 9k Elo. im winning 8 games in a row and even i get winstreak game still giving me -560 points :D i would be 10k+ elo in premier if i managed to reconnect game. im grinding 5k and wooooooop +game crashed+new update in middle of game+cant reconnect again+ (-1000 lose also 30min penalty) :D

Be thankfull and buy some cases, open some cases and maybe you get a knife ! =) wonderfull isnt it?

Some players leave game with reason, some without reason, you can never know, the point is, the penalty is too strong, especially later when you get on around 15k+ points and you get 100 point for win and lose 300 (which is also horrible). Imagine if Faceit would penalty you for -75 elo for abonding, who would it play ? Haha

If they removed the punishment people start pulling their power out to rage quit :D and not lose points

and what about waisting time for 5 games and reach 4000 and after that -550 for lose and go back to 3500 and imagine this happen 5 times this rating system need to fix

1k points is like 2, maybe 3 games. Why are you mad? Beat up some noobs and get back to it.

yeah. It prevents people form abusing the system.
in csgo the leaving penalty was a slap on the wrist. 30 min cooldown you get no real rank penalty. Go abandon your teammates and go watch a quick show or swap to faceit for a quick match. Now its a real threat of you will lose a lot if you decide to do it,

Enough punishment is losing that same match after abonding, no need to punish anything harder as sometime people don't abond by their fault. To return 1k points you need to win 3 games if they give 350 per win, and in last time there are often cheaters in vs, so not easy to return points just like that.
Faceit admins are way smarter than Valve crew, if it is better then they would punish for 75 elo for abonding. xD
