Just (insert value here) years left for it to work. Just have faith bro.
I think that unless VAC goes full invasive and kernel level, they will never develop a good anti-cheat.
Hmm .. i think i can find a way where the Ai would be able to detect a cheater without being intrusive!
1. Client measurement in real time or close to it with 90 sec update to vacnet
2. Data packet sent to Vacnet with crosshairplacement, recoils, damage taken, damage given, hit registrations, health, armor, movements on each player on the server !
Yeah that way you wont be able to cheat in the game, because if your crosshair placement aint right compare to the recoils then you got an aim assist or recoil hack on it, this kind of measurement would allso be able to see if your avatar was spinning around on the other players screen and how your avatar was behaving on the given movement where you killed them ..
So when you hold up all the data´s you collect and compare normal players Vs cheaters, then you can see a big difference between thous two groups !
It aint hard, the real question is, will Valve have a total cheater free game ?
If yes, then it is easy enough to get that ..
That's a really good idea, I haven't thought of that before. Most of these parameters would only apply to rage cheaters and semi-rage though. A lot of people in Premier mode and Comp do legit cheating. Recoil control scripts manipulate the mouse movement in game if it's an external. Externals are harder to detect than internals as they don't inject any code into the memory of the game. Internals could be detected quite easily in the future because at the moment, there aren't many internals that are untedected.
You're describing VAClive.
lmao
This can always be the problem. Give the AI false data and it will produce false results. From view of the AI though it did the right things.
Well that's called legit cheating, most of the time, legit cheaters use either ESP only or triggerbot only. At this point, I'm assuming that the AI learns from the reports that get sent in. In the early stages of this I'm also assuming that there might be Staff manually reviewing the AI's bans to make sure they were fair and just. If the AI wrongly bans someone, it will learn from that and not ban anyone else for that exact reason (ex. Banned for locking onto people through walls but in reality they were just pre-aiming the corner because they heard someone close by). The AI needs to make mistakes for it to learn what to do and what not to do. The AI should in theory, be a lot better in say, a years time because it's been fed so much content to learn from that mistakes will be kept at a minimal.
imo this AI system at most can catch the spinbots and obvious rage cheaters
That maybe true but AI will never be able to detect ESP
