Valve, please adjust the click 'sensitivty'

frequently when i try to single tap, my gun will shoot 2 or 3 times even though i quickly tapped my mouse. There needs to be some kind of click 'deadzone' to where it will allow you to press the mouse for an extra 10ms or something before triggering a double shot, its hard to explain but idk it only happens in CS and i tried 3 different mice, its not the hardware.

Its like if CS detects you click the mouse button for 1ms too long it activates double shot, there needs to be more leeway for single tapping.

I have to lift my finger off the mouse and basically smack my mouse hard in order to consistently do single taps, it shouldnt be like this.

So what your saying is you want the game to not recognize when you tap the mouse button too quickly or too long, ummm ok then, sounds silly. I want the game to recognize all my actions with as little latency as possible, not compensate for my inability to click a mouse, maybe learn to click the mouse correctly

Never had any problem like this, not even with guns that ♥♥♥♥ out bullets like the negev. When i tap the button it shoots just once, unless its in burst fire mode

I am seeing lots of reports of ppl saying they didnt have this problem in CSGO but now in cs2 they are constantly accidentally shooting twice/3 times so something happened which messed up the consistentsy with single clicking. Its not my mouse i tried 3 different ones and i cant single tap consistently it will random double or tripple shot

Yeah its not like a 'double click' but like the mouse is being held down for 1ms too long which causes the gun to shoot twice or 3 times, but im pressing the click as little as possible

I see a lot of ppl say similar things in CS2 where csgo it was fine for them

I use logitech Superlight which is the #1 cs2 mouse , what 36% of pros use according to this btw

You really made two identical posts about this? Brother, your mouse is known to have double clicking issues. Its the soul reason I switched off that mouse and now use a pulsar with optical switches

-Fixed a case where weapons would fire faster than intended
-Fixed a case where clients would show multiple gunshots for one actual shot

To everyone telling him/her to buy a better mouse stop trolling. I have the razer viper v2 Pro and it does this on glock/usp-s... drives me nuts. And before you trolls say get a better mouse, the viper v2 pro has gen 3 optical switches - eliminates the possibility of double clicking.

I've tested double clicking in other games and websites and my v2 pro does not double click in any other game ever. Its a cs2 problem!
