Whenever i press tab now,the map goes square from circle and it really pisses me off because i don't know where i am.Is there anyway to fix this?

I have my map smaller than usual(not the circle, the content of the map)so i don't really need it.

I believe you can disable it... read recent release notes.

I thinks it's really useful, because when you press tab, the whole map shows up, not like normal a small area zoomed in. The map doesn't just goes from circle to square.

As you already have minimap all the time, pressing tab to look at it is useful if you want to see the whole map.
Yeah I was the same after update I pressed tab and I was like wut something is off here and then saw the map is square. I find it also strange

maybe you should play with the keybinding and change the scaling. Maybe smth of this might help:

bind "key" "+radar" alias "+radar" "cl_radar_scale 0.25" alias "-radar" "cl_radar_scale 0.75"
By pressing (and holding!) the key that you defined for this, the radar will zoom in on the minimap. As soon as you stop pressing the key, it will zoom out again. Here’s an advances version of it:
bind "E" "+radar" alias "+radar" "+use; cl_radar_always_centered 1; cl_radar_scale 0.60" alias "-radar" "-use; cl_radar_always_centered 0; cl_radar_scale 0.30"
This version adds the script from above to your +use key, which is E by default. You can still defuse the bomb, open doors and pick up weapons like before.
net_graph "0" bind "TAB" "+scorenet" alias "+scorenet" "+showscores; net_graph 1" alias "-scorenet" "-showscores; net_graph 0"
This will only show you the net_graph when also viewing the scoreboard. However, there is a problem that the information provided by the net_graph need some time to display correctly after enabling it, so when just quickly checking the net_graph, you might see wrong information. To avoid that, use this instead:
net_graph "1" net_graphheight "9999" bind "TAB" "+scorenet" alias "+scorenet" "+showscores; net_graphheight 0" alias "-scorenet" "-showscores; net_graphheight 9999"
This enabled the net_graph the whole time, you just won’t see it due to its position. When pressing TAB now, the net_graph only changes its position and you see accurate information even when just checking very quickly.

This is happening to me right now. I click on TAB and the mini-map gets bigger (doesn't show the scoreboard!). I tried to change the scoreboard key and it just gets the mini-map bigger.

Same here, how can I fix this problem?

Changing the screen resolution in video definitions seems to fix the problem.
