ghosting i.e. giving callouts or info about your team to someone on the enemy team, having someone spectating and giving you callouts or info etc
pretty much giving away or getting info to/from the enemy over chat/mic/whatever

AFAIK, "ghosting" is a kind of exploit that makes the player model to appear on a place that it's different from where the player actually is.

I rarely see that, but what effectively happens is that you see them either "teleport" or you shoot them repeatedly but they're never hit because you were actually hitting the "ghost" model.
that'd be anti-aim/desync, where you shoot the fake angle instead of the real angle
cheaters often troll legits with this

If you are talking about Ghosting in the sense of someone spectating and calling out positions, thats impossible on Faceit. The matches are 1-2 rounds behind when you spectate so your callouts would be more harmful than useful.

Thats not what ghosting is. Never have been never will be.

What GlawGlack says its 100% correct, If you give away the postion about your teammates in the chat or shoot your teammates all the time so the other team know where they are its ghosting.

their are still a few bugs around that circumvent that. like the old captain spectator bug. as well as a few other ways ( like breaking into a discord call or stream sniping ) both of those fall under ghosting as well.
