Toxic CSGO Players...We need to talk
If you are a CS:GO player who is kind and treat ppl who aren't good at the game with respect and try to help them, instead of being toxic (team killing, being insulting, etc), then this post isn't for you.

To the rest of you (you know who you are).... come, sit down next to me for a while, because I'd like to have a little talk with you. I know life can be difficult and cruel and leave scars on us and I don't know what happened to you in your past and who hurt you, but being toxic in video games to new players like myself, to the point of just being outright cruel and inhuman, is not going about it the right way and is not going to heal your past.

I heard of the notorious toxicity in the CS:GO community before buying it and I was appalled when I saw how bad it is. It makes the COD community look like a loving, welcoming place in comparison. It doesn't have to be this way. We can all get along and have good times playing this game. All you have to do, is act like a decent human being. It's really not that hard. Now you all run along now, and think about what we just discussed. :)

See you all soon!

I mean, I don’t treat ppl bad in game, no matter how new, I just say nt if they lost a round, it’s fine rly, but I wanted to say something here. I remember there was a guy on these forums, not gonna name him, but he was extremely toxic, he had this edgy profile, and he was spamming forums on the same subject, which was like, “my teammates are so ♥♥♥♥, this game is ♥♥♥♥ bcz my teammates can’t match my skill level,” so I replied to one of his threads and told him that there is no use of being toxic, it just discourages ur teammates and makes them player even worse, and he replied, “what will change if I tell them good job or any compliment if they do something wrong? It’s better pointing it out, and idc how rude the way I point things out are.” So pls, if u are toxic in game, just encourage them, and tell ‘em to do smthing different or change plans instead of telling em they are ♥♥♥♥

What makes you assume I treated anyone badly? Why would I do that and how is your experience with that other player relevant here? I'm new to the game. When I go into highly competitive games knowing I'm not good, I go in humble and don't trash talk anybody. I literally got killed by a teammate just because I kept dying a lot. What was my crime there?
I get your point but it is annoying to get matched with a duo or trio who invited a lvl 3 player who has 0 experience in the game and end with 5 kills after 28 Rounds. Its just stupid the should adjust the mm min. Lvl to 15 or so because lvl 2 players have 0 experince
With CS2 coming out alot of the more toxic part of the community came back. So we're seeing the level of toxicity we had 10 years ago (Which was an every game problem).

OP: pls don't be toxic
Valve: tbagging is such a 2000s thing so we're adding taunts in cs2 :ujel:

Then turn off the pc and go have a nap, cause nothing is going to change.

Also, you're out of touch if you legitimately think that the CSGO community is worse than COD lol.

Phrases like this is what I'm talking about, my dude. You had enough awareness of the issue to say it's not gonna change, then you have it in you to not be like the toxic ones.

I play both games with voice chat turned off and play COD regularly. Never had a teammate bm me in-game because of perceived bad performance. You can't team kill, or do other things to get a teammate kicked/banned. In CSGO, it's easy and not uncommon.

Explains what? And by the way, it's extremely obvious what side of the toxicity spectrum you're on. You're proving my point.
What are you trying to do with this thread?

Which side of toxicity am i on? and btw it explains how you think the CSGO and COD toxicity are comparable to each other, when they're not even close.

Just venting and expressing myself. :)
