I'. really getting tired reading the same nonsens in this forum for years.
Personal performance does NOT matter. It is explained in detail here, not even argueable at all:

But if you're good at the game it is not a problem to get into high ranks in a short time.
This is literally true.
The average skill level has grown a lot over years.
In 2015 I got SMFC for about 100 first wins in competitive (when my first rank was MG2).
But most likely it was like that because I had a good experience from CS 1.6 and tried hard.
And my current rank is Silver, and I can't compete with current SMFC players at all.
Although I am pretty fine with it, since I play for fun with friends who are also Silvers.
My matches are pretty fine.
In ~LEM rank it is usually 1 match of ~10-15 with cheaters.
In low ranks it is much lower, probably 1 per 50 or even 100. Even though in low ranks cheaters are pretty stupid and can be outplayed.
So I'd say fot me the game is pretty fine and playable.
Although it would be better if rank system also depends on KD and not only on rounds ratio.
