Why is Skin Changer bannable?

I thought you only get banned for using something that has advantage over someone. Skins dont have any advantage over the other players

Because skin changers uses the same methods the cheats are using to access game's files and memory. So VAC recognise skin changer as a cheat.

It cost Valve money cause you won't purchase skins if you can just make up your own.

Well skin changer does not give valve income and that is the only reason it is classified as "cheating".

Incorrect. Valve could care less about that. They make bank all over Steam with the thousands of games using the Inventory System.

source? because for me in steam always show cs in top by revenue, still it wouldn't change anything just because valve have few cows to milk it doesn't mean they want to start give milk for free
