Why Valorant is more competitive than CS:GO

You may think of CS:GO as the staple of competitive gaming, however this has not been true since the release of Valorant. Valorant is a more competitively viable and skill-based game than CS:GO.

CS:GO is objectively inferior to Valorant because of its non skill-based mechanics such as random bullet spread and first shot inaccuracy, this makes CSGO a game based around luck whereas Valorant is completely predictable and thus more competitive. Valorant's maps are also vastly superior than the maps of CSGO, as Valorant maps are perfectly balanced for each side and the layouts are based around proven and tested gameplay theories made by experts, unlike CS:GO which still suffers from the same issues of being too fast, too linear, and having too little space for a variety of styles of play. As for its skill-based mechanics, Valorant features many different stats like bullet aim and weapon aim, each with their own distinct benefits. This allows you to build players to their optimal role in the game and not require certain stats to build your player. This leads to the game being able to be very competitive because it encourages more tactical and intelligent play.

Valorant is also superior to CSGO because it is more accessible to new players, this makes the game a more attractive one to the masses and encourages more new players. New players find Valorant extremely easy to learn and quickly pick up, in comparison to CSGO which takes a very high skill ceiling to play optimally.

Valorant has far more content than CSGO, with two more stages in the form of the three new regions Valorant's story has gone through, this makes the game an enticing one for people to try out, and Valorant's story is much more relevant as it is based on real-world events and has an extremely deep lore.

Valorant is not only superior in terms of its gameplay, but also in terms of its engine and technical prowess. Valorant for example innovated by allowing the player to control the character's actions using a mouse and keyboard. The use of mouse and keyboard was made possible by Valorant's in-house tech, which is designed to be more accessible for PC gamers, thus increasing the competitiveness of Valorant. Other features that make the game competitive include better tickrate and overall server quality. Valorant has perfect hit registration, perfect game balance, and perfect server latency, all of which contribute to making the gameplay of the game extremely smooth.

When it comes to the best players of CS:GO, they either do not make it in competitive play, are incredibly inconsistent or both. The reason for this is because the entire game is based around random bullet spread and bullet acuracy as mentioned before, this means that luck becomes the most important part of the game. This leads to the issue of being unable to count on luck in any situation, this means that if your opponent is good, they are more likely to outplay you, if you are good, you are much less likely to outplay an opponent who is not as good as you. Valorant is far more consistent than CSGO because of its skill-based mechanics, its skill-based gameplay also means that there is no reliance on luck and thus it results in the better player winning consistently. This makes the gameplay of the game extremely fair and the result being, the games are more competitive and the best players are the winners.

The only 5 issues I got with CS:GO is:

1. Cheaters

2. A Dev team that nerf the game to much and make it unplayable

3. Client and server registrations

4. Waaay to Toxic community

5. The Game dont even have 1/3 of the map pool from the Original counterstrike

So what i am saying basicly is that we need to get back to Vanilla Counterstrike again ..
and we need to get the vacnet to punish instant again !

what? lmaoo i think you have that mixed up. You can learn the bullet spreads and recoils for every gun on csgo, valorant its rng.

I think you are factually incorrect on a few things.
Its actually Valorant that has a random spray mechanic, only the first few bullets are not random.
Valorant has, just like csgo, first shot inaccuracy.
Valorant has "spread", just like csgo, which is an inaccuracy applied to every shot. Together with the random recoil this makes the shooting mechanics in Valorant far more random than csgo where the recoil is fully consistant.

1. The spray mechanic in Valorant is not random because the early rounds have less variance.

2. The first shot inaccuracy in CS:GO is random unlike in Valorant where it is consistent, however the spread is not fixed for all shots but rather is the same for all shots.

3. No bullet "spread" has been observed in Valorant, because the accuracy/spread/recoil values have no effect at all on the way bullets fly.

You are wrong in your assessment that Valorant has no skill-based mechanics. Valorant's skill-based gameplay is based around consistency and cosistency alone. Players need to consistently perform at a high level to be successful, this means that there is no reliance on luck, thus the result is more even, hence a skill based game. There is less variance in the game than in CSGO because CSGO has no ability to place into the ranks of competitive play, this means that even the best players can have a bad day in the office.
