Game keeps crashing to desktop with no error message. Lobby chat says Player disconnected (no user logon)
I have an i5 12400f, RTX 3060ti, 32GB RAM.

As the title says, almost every game I play of CS:GO my game crashes to the desktop without any error codes or messages and my friends in the lobby see a message saying "Player disconnected (No user logon)" in chat. It's been happening for the past few months and I can't find a way to fix it or find anyone with this same problem. I have tried verifying game files, uninstalling and reinstalling game drivers, reinstalling CS:GO, chaning in game settings and even a fresh install of Windows but nothing has helped.

Any help and advice is appreciated.

Try a different drive, but I would start at looking at pc stability. Check for memory errors and whea errors.

virfy game files / cl_updaterate 64
check Windows "Event Viewer" -> Windows Logs -> "Application "and "System" tab

you should find whats gonna make this error.

Hi I just wanted to update that every time I play CS:GO and it crashes I verify game files and it always says 1 file failed to verify. I then start the game and it lets me play about 3/4 of a game before crashing and then fails to verify the same file again. I know it's the same file as it always downloads the file and it's always 98.6KB in size. Anyone know the cause of this? I saw online it happened to other people but not that it crashed their games or a way to fix it.

I looked for memory errors and everything was fine and I only have crashing issues in CS:GO, no problems in newer more demanding games

Nothing seems to align with timings for when CS:GO crashes.

I tried verifying files and after every time I play there's always 1 file that failed to verify. I'm not sure why but some people online say it's normal and others say it's affecting their game i.e. slowing things down. No one talks about it crashing. I tried the cl_updaterate 64 but it didn't help

I'm not sure why, but I have moved CS:GO from my main drive to a secondary drive and I was able to finish a game for the first time in a long time. I hope it stays working and thanks for the suggestion.

Dude, im having the same problem, I just verified the game files after the crash and it downloaded a 98.6KB size file. Any updates? I just installed a 3060ti, until now I had a 1050ti and never happened to me before.
