Maybe the speculation is coming to an end and people are realizing that nobody will buy the cases at that price to open them, they are just buying if they think the price will go up. Now that the price goes down nobody is buying and the price drops faster so more people sell until it crashes.

its the market the prices go up and down all the time , you can come up with all the conclusions why but in the end you cant predict it.

Stock market at it's best lol Speculations are over and people start to lose trust in the cases, that's why they start to do quick sells... The real deal is the drop rate of the cases and therefore the skins. They are limited and there's a huge potential in cs 2. Diamond hands!

yeh, cases are pretty much worth to hold, cuz there's a big chance that cs2 will bring new case, discontinuing of the actual ones

Many times the market "crashed." And many times, the market saw higher highs throughout that year afterwards. It's been ten years since and this trend just keeps on going, over and over and over again. It's just supply and demand. Those with large loadouts are unloading while the FUD follows suit and sells at a cheaper price.

You can tell people that "this time, it's different" all you want. Yes, you. The one speculating on the market's behaviour. You're just preaching to the choir. I must say though, that's some determination you got there; To repeat yourself the same tale for over a whole decade.

From what I've observed, there is a bug that shows wrong prices of items in your inventory (i.e. the actual market value is 1, but you see 0.5, 0.7 or whatever in your inventory). People sell their items without actually checking the items' market pages and prices go down.

Inventories, trade servers and even the market have been under a lot of stress and unstable ever since the announcement of CSGO2.
