Why are Cases so expensive right now?

One factor is that non prime account arent eligible for case drop anymore.

CS2 will be released in Summer and all skins will be brought with, meaning the skins and cases people are buying now probably won't lose value anytime soon. The CS2 release will also introduce many new players into the game and people who stopped playing a while ago may come back... Those players will probably "need" skins too so some people are investing and hoping to sell later.

There's also some market issue, so demand is the same but people havea a hard time selling, reducing offer.
