Source Engine Tick System Explained
7.25 min "the airboat gun", but watch the whole video to get a better insight
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3IFbheOPU0
if there is a noticeable diffrence between tickless rate and 128 tick servers only beta players can tell
tickrate 11
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyYk9hUDdj8
tickrate 400
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMI43G5vtzg
after watching all videos ,
my personal opinion is ,the real cause of all hitreg problems is fluctuating tickrate , caused by poor serverhardware or by gamedesign
is it possible one or more servers run unique tickrates for each individual player ?
or cheats work based on software manipulating tickrates
Basicaly any other single FPS game can get hitreg right... only CS make a total piele of trash and then there is you xD Saying it's fine and it is a skill issue xD Incredible.
its about the taste of roastbeef and not about the taste of ketchup you put on your roast beef
