System requirements CS:GO 2
There are no official data yet. However, it can be assumed that the graphics will be significantly improved in the COP on Source 2. This will come at the expense of increased detail, which includes draw distance, particles, textures, effects, lighting, and more.

Most likely, innovations will lead to a decrease in performance for players with a weak PC and an increase in the minimum system requirements for CS GO on Source 2.

I don't think that will change that much I think both low end and high end pc can play the game without problems, in the new C's the video settings actually works, if you see on the old cs not many off the video settings are working/doing something.

In new cs in low looks like a potato.

From what I've seen it's well optimized. Though, people with integrated GPUs probably won't be able to play it like they could with CS:GO

I'd imagine even as something as old as a 660 could run it with tweaked settings.

Worst case, anyone with a older video card that was once decent will have to use something like FSR to help with GPU strain.

Ether way, I've seen videos of people using 1050s to play it and it was fine. Not sure how creditable the source was, but why would you lie about a benchmark?

Isn't that a good thing? I don't want to play with people who have less than 60 frames per second. For as long as there is a game (2012-2023) could even buy an average computer

It looks like you can actually disable dynamic shadows in CS2 with the lowest settings and it uses baked shadows instead. While in CS:GO you can't disable dynamic shadows, even on the lowest setting.

That could be a huge performance gain for people.

I have an old pc, have like 120-140fps on spawn and like 80 in battle in cs2. Its pretty much unplayable and feels like playing with a 150+ ping even on lowest settings possible and 2nd lowest resolution.

I'm saving for a new pc now.

btw, in normal cs go i have about 300fps in spawn and between 150 and 200fps in battle, also lowest settings.
