Servers in Spain are experiencing high load - (I live in France)

So here I am, like every other afternoon, I want to play a game of CS:GO. I hop on steam, start the game, get to the menu and start looking for a competitive match. Once i start looking, the (usually) green cool looking holographic spinning earth screen at the top left is yellow, with a WARNING sign. Next to that warning sign, is a text, saying "Servers in Spain are experiencing high load" Which for one is weird because I live in France (I don't use a VPN) and I thought CS:GO just had EU East, EU West, USA, Asia and Africa servers. So why am I in Spain, and what does it mean for a server to experience high load? (Possibly overly used servers from the hype of CS2?) Oh and i don't even live near the Spanish border so that's also out of the question. Pls help?

Alright so i looked further into it and it turns out the problem is that since CS:2 got announced, people started playing a bunch, trying to get access to the BETA version, which is why servers are clogged full of people, that's why you can't play. The thing is, a few days ago, CS:GO tweeted that people shouldn't clog up servers because they select people based on playtime they had BEFORE CS:2 was announced, so you could play as much as you want every day from now on and it won't change anything.

Now as for why the servers are in Spain, I still have absolutely no idea, but my ping is at a nice small 27 so i couldn't care less, plus, all I get is Russian teammates anyways so whatever.

depuis 3ans environ je fais le même constat avec mes potes, chaques fois que nous arrivons sur un serveur qui "touche pas" (malgres un tres bon ping), on tape le fameux "status" dans la console et: "hostname: Valve CS:GO Spain Server"
serveur qui touchent jamais et rendent fou !!!!
depuis CSGO2 je tombe non stop sur des server espagnole et surtout en casual la c'est du 100% ....
j ai un pote qui ne fait pas de compet on jouent regulierement en casual tous les deux et du coup v'la l'horreur .....

LOL, got here through googling the problem with the "Spain-Servers", because I'm in Germany and have also the 30 min expected waiting time on every map.

So basically, Servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the Problem isn't me?
