Console commands arent saving

Every time I re open the game I have to re enter my console commands? Is there a way to permanently save them or will I have to re enter them every time?

The place where I put all my custom cfg files for CSGO does not work for CS2. I even created a new one for CS2 and tried running it manually using the exec command in the console. However, it says it cannot find or read the file.

When I type my settings into the console manually, it works for that session. When I restart CS2 and open it again, it shows that I have zero aliases. So each time CS2 is restarted, it wipes out most of my custom settings. If I could get it to see my custom cfg file, I wouldn't mind running it manually each time I open CS2 but as mentioned, it won't let me load a custom cfg. I'm so dependent on my custom settings - please help!

Try verifying the game files, reinstalling the game, or setting up an autoexec.
