If I put fullscreen mode on I can only see couple different resolutions.

-h 1080

And you can also set stretched 4:3 this way, but this isn't a pleasing solution and seems a lot of people are impacted. On a low end GPU stretched 4:3 and low visual quality settings look horrendous.
Works for me to set it up in launch options, however the game still shows in the video setting menu that it wants me to play on 1600x900. In game however it is 1920x1080 (so don't change it when playing)
I can force fullscreen and 2560x1440p but then the game is set to 60hz (despite having -freq 144 in options). When I go to adjust the refresh rate, it forces me to go back to 1920x1080
