No 240hz available @ 1080p

Hi guys,

i have pretty annoying problem with cs2. The problem is that i cant set the right refresh rate at 1080p and i dont know why. I have tried everything from changing the cfg file, to launch options to every setting in the driver but nothing seems to help. Everytime i choose 1080p the 240hz option dissappears and im left with 144hz max. even though my monitor runs on 240hz and 1080p on Desktop and pretty much every other program/game i am using.
Furthermore once i change the aspect ratio to 16:10 or 4:3 the 240hz reappears and i can enable it. Frtom there i can even choose 1080p @ 240hz but once i apply the changes and leave the menu it reverts back to 144hz even though i could apply it as 1080p @ 240hz.
I really dont get it, If anybody could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Radeon Vega 56
16GB @ 1866MHz Cl16
Windows 11 64bit

Found out it works on vulkan lol doenst make any sens. But it doenst really matter cause vulkan runs so jittery it isnt really playable

I had the same issue a you, i solved it by updating my GPU drivers and restarting. Also make sure you have these commands in launch options –freq 280hz –fullscreen

I already have those launch options and the latest driver. I also tried to uninstall the driver with DDU and reinstall it but nothing changed.

What fixed it for me with Vega 64:
- Set your game to 4:3 resolution + 240 hz and apply (full screen)
- Now set the setting back to 16:9 and select 240 hz and apply
