CS2 Crashes on 1440p / Constant Flicker/Video Blackouts

Hello Guys,
I've got issues running CS2 on 1440p. At first, the game did start but with the start of the intro video, there were constant black-outs ("low frequence flicker") of the screen. I searched for similiar problems but did not find much.

I tried to deactivate nvidia Ansel, deleted startup options, checked for driver updates. Nothing worked for me. After a time I read, that maybe setting the CS2 Video Config File to the resolution 1920 x 1080. Changed it and it worked! The only problem is, that the complete game is running in FullHD. As soon as I set it back to 2k in the settings, the game ist constantly blacking out again.

My PC should not have any problems with the game (Ryzen 7 7800x3D / TRX 4070 / 32 GB). Does anyone else got a similar problem or even better a solution to play in 1440p?

Have you fixed this issue? after todays update i can't play for more than 5 minutes without crashing.

it may be the problem with the graphics card since i have a 4070 too and i get the sudden blackouts too tho i have an laptop not pc

Edit. I tried few things and disabling g-sync fixes this issue for me

Hi, the same thing happens to me. I have a 3060 12gb and an R5 7800xt. Up until 4-5 days ago I could play games just fine. Yesterday I tried to play in 2560x1440 and the game screen flickers. I updated the nvidia driver and it's still the same. If anyone knows the solution that would be great. Regards.
