Anybody else gaming on 480hz screen?

My "ultimate" laptop build is COMPLETE and the shipping label has been created!

It is an Alienware. I opted for the lower resolution, but higher hz panel

-(18" FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 480Hz)

I also got cherry MX keys on this build.

So, yeah, anyone using a panel this fast?

flex about it. you wont be getting those 480 fps needed and will experience lag.

I have a i9 13980HX and a RTX 4090 - 16GB w/ 64MB 5200mhz system ram

So I should be able to get close?

I'm currently using 120HZ and I feel like I'm still seeing screen tears.

Basically you should be able to hit 500 fps pretty constantly.

That's the goal.

We're getting fiber optic in the next year or so, so once I have that instead of Elon Musk internet I should have a pretty solid experience.
