Cs2 , look at my text
The pro scene in particular is skeptical and all those who, for example, only play and grind Faceit are rightly complaining. The game is currently not in good condition, you have to be honest. Beta or not. The game has been in beta for months and the problems have hardly been fixed - and Valve is not known to respond to problems quickly or sensibly. The skepticism is therefore more than appropriate. Performance is still an imposition and many people can hardly play it well anymore (by that I mean constant 200fps+ and no constant fps drops on maps that have been out for months), gunplay is currently a farce and is developing more and more into a run and gun game. Spraying is completely off it seems and flickshots through AWP or Deagle no longer seem to work because the tick rate is the problem here and the calculation of the shots is completely different.

So it remains to be said. Game looks cool, soundscape is improved. Smokes bring big changes and the MM servers are better than before (which wasn't hard).
At the same time, gunplay is currently more COD than CS. Flicks and spray no longer feel like CS. Shots sometimes connect with a considerable delay, as if you had a 300+ ping. Enemies often hit you even though you've been standing behind a wall for half a second.
FPS drops and generally poor performance on almost every map. Every 128 tickserver plays better than what we are currently experiencing. Cheating is easier than ever right now.

Of course the game is in beta, but let's not pretend that it was only in beta this week. The game should basically be finished soon. But it feels completely out of place and much worse than CS GO when it comes to gameplay alone. So I can understand the many complaints. Pro players in particular are crucial here as to how well the game is currently running - and this is where the criticism is loud. It's also clear that most of the players aren't good (in terms of player base, the majority of the community is low elo), but CS GO thrives on the pro scene and is defined by it. Valve still has a lot to do to make the game feel like CS.
I'm currently expecting the game to come out as a "new" CS at some point and we'll wait 1-2 years until the game gets really good (comparable to when CS GO was new and took 2-3 years to get it became playable at all). It probably won't be that bad, but the game won't be finished when it's released.
