CS2 Crashing mid game

I just got a 2h competitive cooldown because my game keeps freezing out and crashing mid game. I put everything on low, put in all the possible console commands that could help,
and its still crashing.
I’m now scared to start a game so I don’t get a even longer cooldown

Seems like you're having PC performance issues, even causing CS2 to freeze.

Try updating your drivers and removing any overclock on your system, that new smoke rly hits different tbh.

It's the game, it's not your system. The game consistently gives me 2-3 second freezes and stutters worse than Walt Jr trying to break the tension at family dinner.

What specs do you have that you get such long freezes? I got such freezes in csgo but never in cs2

yeah the game is buggy right now ive had it crash like 3 times, and made me re-scan my files, one of these happen mid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ match...

There are player that would say "it doesnt happen to me, cs2 is fine".

Iam saying, give valve more info to work with, they posted emails for that.

Hi, same thing happening to me, specs:
7900XTX and a 5700X with 32gb ram.
Settings are not high, most things are off and other things set to medium.
Already reinstalled game, first game froze.
Its getting really frustrating.
Drivers are also up to date

I have a 7900xt ,13700k ,32gbs 6000mhz. cs2 crashed 5 times ina row during a comp match so I gave up and went to play GO but now I have a 24 hour cool down across both games, whos genius idea was to have cooldowns in a beta effect a full release game .

i have similar specs , I figured after 5 crashes Id give up and go play csgo but I have a cooldown there too , what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid decision to have cooldowns effect both versions
