you flicked 2 fast, i did what?? how about you fix you system, and not limit me instead.
due to how ticks worked in csgo when flicking the game would calculate moues movement then the mouse click
in CS2 subtick makes it so your mouse click is always processed first before mouse movement like it should have always been.
in CSGO at the end of each tick all inputs get calcualted, meaning you shoot at the beginning of the tick at point A and move your crosshair to point B before the tick ended, result your shot hits point B even tho you clicked at point A
in CS2 all input get a "timestamp" and at the end of each tick everything gets calcualted, meaning you shoot at the beginning of the tick at point A and move your crosshair to point B before the tick enden, result you hit where your crosshair was ( point A ) when you shot
but sometimes the clientside gives you wrong feedback because of the delay client>server>client ( the tracers and so on)
the cs2 system is actually more accurate then csgo is even compared to 128tick
I believe the core of my issue lies in moving the crosshair while clicking. Even though I'm confident that I'm directly on target when I click, it doesn't register. And it just keeps happening.
I'd recommend checking out this YouTube video: "vnc - Why You Might Be Missing Your Shots in CS2 – THE PROBLEM WITH SUBTICK UPDATES."
The fix?
Aim then shoot, not other way around
but basically his testing was using the command
+attack then +right
in cs2 this will always be read as shoot first move crosshair to the right 2nd
meaning the shot will always land "behind" the crosshair
If it isn't tweaked soon, I doubt this big update will matter. So far if anything it just made the game even more of a headache to play.
