CS2 Sound Bug

Hey everyone,

since the Update for CS2 today my sound is completly bugged in the whole game game. Even if i am in the main menu every hes somehting like an echo comming and overloading. I am playing on a laptop and if i switch the device to the integerated device it sounds completly normal. When i switch it back to my headphones its bugged again and i dont know how to solve this problem. Does anyone have the same issues or knows how to fix it?

Fixed the problem, you need to unplig your headset!!! everything else is not working. Ive tried to restart the Pc or check the game data for problems. Also changing the device ingame did not work.

any more detailed explanation of how to fix it? Unplugging and replugging my headset does not work

Same, I was in my FaceIt match when it happened and it gave me a temp ban lol, I haven't encountered this problem while playing CS:GO but this has been really persistant in CS2, can't seem to find a workaround unless you restart CS2

Wow I thought I was going crazy, I'm currently in game on mirage and when I walk around the sides of the map I hear sounds from the opposite side, I feel like I'm constantly surrounded by people walking, throwing grenades etc when they're not even next to me, very disturbing.

Result of the game: I lost lol.

sound problem shame !!! this is so sad. some people know the difference about intensity and volume.. and there is something very wrong with the game.

i had the same problem.

the only help i can give you is ---> it works correctly when you first start the game until you are on the homescreen and then connect your headphones.
when you first connect headphones and start game after that, you maybe will have the soundbug, like an echo or something like that again.

that is the way it works for me.

I had the exact same problem and I couldn't hear anything else on my computer. I thought I was going crazy and tried so many different ways but it turns out I had chosen my headphones (Bluetooth) in the game settings. I switched it to "default device" and everything was back to normal.
