Cs2 opens but no image appears

When opening CS2, it plays a little bit of the initial video, but soon everything goes black and no image appears anymore, even though you can hear the sounds of the initial menu as if the game was running but with the image all black, I have already repaired the files and reinstalled the game

i have the same issue but with csgo instead of cs2, i tried so many things to fix it like reinstalling and configuring stuff but nothing works. I think we just gotta wait till valve fixes it :/

Weird situaiton but worked for me. I've bought new Dell monitor and when I connected it, it showed me the same issue. So, basically, monitors dont project the same resolution (old was 1366x768, new is 1920x1080), so I've just connected my old monitor back, launched the game, changed the resolution in the game to match the resolution of my new monitor, connected back my new monitor and it works perfectly without any issues now. Hope this will help you somehow.
